  • What services do you offer?

At Academix Advisors Pvt Ltd,we provide:

    • Personalized counseling,Β
    • University selection support,Β
    • Application assistance
    • Visa guidance
  • Do I need IELTS to study abroad, or are there other options?

It depends on the country. For Australia and the UK, IELTS (typically 6.0–6.5 overall) is usually required and is the safest option. For Germany, you will need either IELTS or proof of language proficiency for certain programs. For Georgia and Malta, many universities do not require IELTS β€” a Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate from your school or campus may be accepted instead. For Italy, English-taught programs ask for IELTS 6.0, while Italian-taught programs require a B2 Italian test. Our counsellors at Academix Advisor assess your profile and recommend the fastest and most suitable path for your target country.

  • How much money do I need to show in my bank account for a student visa?

The amount varies by destination. For Australia, you need to show at least AUD 29,710 in accessible funds. For the UK, it is your first year's tuition plus 9 months of living costs β€” roughly Β£23,000–35,000 depending on the city. For Malta, approximately €9,000–10,000 for living expenses plus tuition fees. For Georgia, a minimum of 3,800 GEL in a Georgian bank is required for the residence permit. The critical rule across all countries: the money must have been sitting consistently in the account for at least 28 days to 6 months β€” sudden large deposits before the application are a common reason for visa rejection. We help you structure your financial documents correctly from the very beginning.

  • Which country is the most affordable for Nepali students right now?

Georgia and Italy are currently the most affordable destinations we work with. In Georgia, total annual costs (tuition plus living) range from USD 6,600 to USD 13,200 β€” and many programs require no IELTS. In Italy, public university tuition can be as low as €660 per year, and students from lower-income families may qualify for full fee exemptions. Malta and the Netherlands sit in the mid-range at approximately NPR 20–35 lakhs per year, while the UK and Australia are the highest at NPR 35–70 lakhs annually. The most affordable option also depends on your course and lifestyle β€” we help you compare total costs including visa fees, living expenses, and insurance across all destinations during your free counselling session.

  • Can I work part-time while studying, and how much can I realistically earn?

Yes β€” all the countries Academix Advisor works with allow students to work part-time. In Australia, you can work 48 hours per fortnight at around AUD 23–30 per hour, which is enough to cover a significant portion of your living costs. In the UK, it is 20 hours per week at Β£11.44 or more per hour. In Malta, 20 hours per week is permitted after completing 90 days of study. In the Netherlands, 16 hours per week during term and full-time during the summer months. In Georgia, part-time work is allowed and even modest earnings go a long way given the low cost of living. Common student jobs include hospitality, retail, tutoring, and administrative roles.

  • How long does the whole process take β€” from first visiting Academix Advisor to actually flying out?

For most destinations, you should plan for 9 to 12 months from your first counselling session to your departure. This typically includes 1–2 months for IELTS preparation if required, 1–2 months to shortlist universities and prepare your Statement of Purpose and supporting documents, 1–3 months for the university application and offer letter, and 4–8 weeks for visa processing. The Netherlands has strict non-EU application deadlines (typically around 1 April), so early planning is essential there. The UK visa takes around 3 weeks once submitted. Italy adds a mandatory pre-enrolment step through the Universitaly portal. We give every student a personalised timeline on their very first visit so that nothing is rushed or missed.
